With rapid advances in technology at our fingertips the world is able to share information at the click of an imaginary button. From a landscape business standpoint, technology has given us some very useful and helpful tools to be as efficient as we can possibly be. From a consumer standpoint, technology can make customer service very “hands- off”. We pride ourselves in remembering how nice “hands-on” customer service is. Although many apps and software advances help are efficiency it does not create a distraction or “email only” approach from us. You are not just a number to us. Your project and our standing relationship is the most important thing to us. We would like you to meet our staff…

Growing up in Colorado and working at a young age in his father’s auto wrecking yard, Brandon Knight is no stranger to hard work. From his childhood background, Brandon has always been very fond of equipment and machinery and knew he would have his own someday. In High School Brandon started a lawn care service and has never looked back. In 1994, Brandon started K & D Landscape and has maintained an A+ business rating with the Better Business Bureau. If his years in business don’t quite sell you (Over 20 with almost 30 years in the industry) his list of landscape certifications on a State and National level might. What has made Brandon successful in a tough industry for all these years is that he cares about people and he is passionate about our industry. Brandon is an expert on water features, fire pits, fireplaces, engineered walls, irrigation, paver patio and walkways, critical paths to successful project management, stone work, lighting, and just about any outdoor construction you can think of. Achievements aside, Brandon should be most proud about relationships he has kept and maintained with clients for 5, 10, even 20+ years. Brandon is not the man behind the scenes but rather a very influential component of why each of our projects stands out from the competition. Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife and son boating on Lakes throughout Colorado. If you work with us you will get to know Brandon well.

Luis got to where he is today the old fashioned way: Hard work and a passion for the industry. With over 15 years in the industry, Luis moved up the ranks quicker than most becoming K & D’s Project Manager. Clients love him for his personality, professionalism, and attention to detail. We love him because he loves a challenge. If it’s a very technical install or a very busy schedule, Luis first accepts the challenge and then executes. We have very talented designers in house but a design is only a pretty picture if you don’t have the right people to install it. Luis is an artist. Luis enjoys spending time with his family and keeping up on the Denver Broncos.

A Colorado native (born and raised in Denver), Brian enjoys biking, snowboarding, fishing, camping, hiking, and boating. Matt has been with Jon’s company, Duke’s Landscape Design from the very beginning and remembers when they used to do work for Peanut butter and Jelly Sandwiches. Matt is very intelligent and very much an artist. He is able to pull from a design’s direction and spin it to an experience. Matt is very precise in his craft and believes in our process. Clients love him for his intelligence, professionalism, and work ethic. We love him for his drive, personality, and what he brings to our portfolio. Despite being an Oakland Raider fan, Matt is a pretty darn good person. Matt enjoys the Denver scene and being on the cutting edge of introductory hair styles. He is coined as Mr. Denver within our company even though he is an avid Raiders fan.
